Organizations

Currently, The Nonprofit Commons has 32 organizations that have offices in Second Life. 29 additional organizations are on a waiting list.

International representation
Organizations from several different countries have offices in the nonprofit commons. These countries include: Canada, the UK, Belgium, Sri Lanka, France, Japan, Australia, Bahrain. In addition, organizations with international missions and presence are also represented such as CARE, International Rescue Committee and Taking IT Global.

Members of the nonprofit Commons that attend weekly meetings but do not currently have offices also come from across the world. Attendees have come from far and wide from the following countries: Canada, UK, Belgium, Sri Lanka, France, Japan, Australia, Italy, India and the UAE.

Nonprofit Commons Blog
The nonprofit commons blog has grown exponentially in visitor traffic. We are now seeing on average over 1,100 Unique visitors to the nonprofit commons blog. There has also been interest indicated by visits to the nonprofit commons blog with visitors from 59 different countries.

Attendance at meetings
In the last 12 months, over 1,200 people total have attended the weekly nonprofit commons meetings. As interest in the nonprofit commons has grown, the meetings have seen as many as 49 people attend a weekly event. 175 individual avatars have attended these meetings going back to March 2006.
